Clear Braces

Straightening your smile

Orthodontic clear brace treatment is a way of straightening or moving teeth, most often to improve the appearance and alignment of crooked or crowded teeth and to help correct issues with your bite. Modern orthodontics can help achieve remarkable results at any age!

A choice of orthodontic treatments

Modern braces can correct misaligned teeth, often without the need for an extraction or other remedial work. The process works slowly over time, gently bringing your teeth into the correct alignment to give you a straighter smile!

At Baycliff Dental & Implant Surgery, we offer two types of orthodontic services:

FASTBRACES®– can straighten teeth in as little as 20 weeks.

This innovative technology is the perfect solution for teenagers and adults who want to straighten their teeth reasonably quickly and effectively! They consist of uniquely designed brackets that are discreet tooth-coloured, clear or metal braces and high-tech wire designed to straighten teeth in a fast, safe and easy manner by providing immediate root movement from the onset of therapy.

The key benefit to using Fastbraces is that, for many patients, treatment is completed in about 100 days!

Invisalign® – one of the best known orthodontic treatments in the UK, uses 3D-computer imaging to plan your treatment, the almost invisible clear aligners gently move your teeth.

A widely popular orthodontic treatment for those who want straight teeth, but don’t want people to know they are wearing braces. Invisalign braces consist of a series of clear aligners which are custom-made for your teeth to help move them. These clear aligners can be easily removed and are incredibly discreet!

Invisalign braces are a common choice for celebrities and have helped improve the smile of 5 million people around the globe!

The benefits of clear braces

Crooked and crowded teeth can cause a range of problems. Overlapping teeth can trap food, accelerating tooth decay, while crooked teeth can lead to difficulties with your bite and your speech.

Misaligned teeth may even cause pain and discomfort in severe cases.

Fortunately, it is never too late to tackle crooked teeth and gain that straight smile you’ve always wanted.

Our experts will be happy to talk you through what can realistically be achieved through our orthodontic services, explaining the processes and timescale involved. Simply book an initial FREE CONSULTATION appointment today to discuss your options.

3D Scanning with iTero Element 2

Forget those ghastly, gunk-filled dental impression trays. At Baycliff, we use the very latest 3D scanning technology to visualise your teeth on-screen, creating digital impressions that are not only much more comfortable to create, but much more accurate too. Click here to find out more.

In-House CT Scanning

When it comes to planning more complex procedures, a CT scan of the jaw is an essential step. Unfortunately, with many practices, this can mean a significant delay to your treatment, as well as a long journey to the nearest dental scanning service.

At Baycliff, we do all our own CT scanning in-house, using the very latest, low dose 3D scanning technology, so there’s no need to travel and no waiting to get started on your treatment. To find out more, click here .

  • How much do clear braces cost?

Prices for clear braces at Baycliff Dental Surgery start from £2,300. We also offer flexible payment options, including 0% finance, to help make your treatment more affordable.

  • How long does treatment with clear braces take?

The duration of treatment varies depending on your specific needs, but most cases are completed within 6 to 18 months. During your consultation, we will create a personalized treatment plan and provide an estimated timeline.

  • Are clear braces suitable for everyone?

Clear braces are suitable for most teens and adults looking to correct misaligned teeth. However, the complexity of your case will determine if clear braces are the best option for you. Our dental team will assess your teeth during your consultation and recommend the ideal treatment.

  • Are clear braces comfortable to wear?

Yes, clear braces are designed with comfort in mind. They are made of smooth materials that reduce irritation to the gums and cheeks. While you may feel slight pressure as your teeth adjust, this is a normal part of the straightening process.

  • How often do I need to visit the dentist during treatment?

We recommend check-ups every 4-6 weeks during your treatment to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments. These visits help ensure the best results for your smile.

  • Can I eat and drink normally with clear braces?

With clear aligners, you can remove them while eating and drinking, so there are no dietary restrictions. However, if you have fixed clear braces, we advise avoiding hard, sticky, or chewy foods that could damage the brackets or wires.
